This is the piece of the Odoo 20 update we are asked about most: an MCP server that lets your agent work on your Odoo hosting directly, instead of you clicking through menus to do routine things.
What your agent can do
- Restart the server — the task nobody wants to be paged for.
- Upload modules — deploy new functionality as part of the same workflow.
- Add and check domains — routing handled where the work happens.
- Manage your backups — create them, and reinstall one when you need to.
- Read the logfiles — investigate a problem without digging through them by hand.
Why we built it this way
Hosting chores are short, frequent and interrupt you at the worst moment. Handing them to an agent changes the shape of the day: you stay on the work that moves your project, and the operational tasks happen in the background — under the same account, on the same console you already use.
The console itself is unchanged. What changed is that the routine half of running an instance no longer needs you in front of it.
